Stow0

Privacy Policy

Stow0 is built around user-controlled local storage.

This policy describes the current Stow0 macOS app and stow0.com website. The app is designed to help you review files before moving them to an iCloud Drive archive you control.

Local by default

Stow0 scans only folders you choose on your Mac. File paths, archive history, and storage settings stay on device unless you move files into your own iCloud Drive.

No tracking

Stow0 does not use advertising identifiers, cross-app tracking, analytics SDKs, or third-party payment providers.

Apple purchases only

If Stow0 offers paid features, purchases and restores are handled by StoreKit and the App Store using your Apple Account.

Data Stow0 accesses

Stow0 may read file metadata such as path, size, modification date, and folder location for folders you explicitly grant. It also reads local disk capacity so it can compare current storage against your budget.

Data Stow0 stores

The app stores preferences, security-scoped bookmarks, selected folders, iCloud archive location, and archive history locally on your Mac. This is used to remember your choices and support safe restore.

Data Stow0 does not collect

Stow0 does not send your file list, paths, archive history, storage usage, or purchase state to a Stow0 server. The current app has no third-party analytics, ads, or external checkout.

Payments

Digital purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Stow0 does not receive or store your payment card details.
